The Walk for Vision 2026 event ("Event") is organised on behalf of the Lions Club of Bangalore West and is conducted, managed and operated by Varada Innovations ("we", "us", "our", or the "Organiser"). This website and the online registration and payment facility are provided by Varada Innovations.

By registering for, accessing, or participating in the Event, you ("you", "your", "Participant") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy set out below. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not register for or participate in the Event.

1. Registration

• Registration is confirmed only upon successful completion of payment (where applicable) and receipt of a confirmation message.
• You must provide accurate, current and complete information at the time of registration. The Organiser is not responsible for any consequences arising from incorrect or incomplete details provided by you.
• Registration is personal to the registered Participant(s) and is non-transferable unless expressly permitted by the Organiser.
• The Organiser reserves the right to accept or decline any registration at its sole discretion.

2. Fees and Payment

• Registration fees, where applicable, are displayed on the registration page and are inclusive of applicable taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise.
• All payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
• Inclusions (such as T-shirt, bib number, finisher certificate and refreshments) are subject to availability and may vary.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

All registrations are final. Please refer to our Refund Policy for complete details. In summary, no refund shall be given once a registration has been completed.

4. Participation, Health and Safety

• Participation in the Event involves physical activity. You confirm that you are medically fit to participate and, where necessary, have consulted a qualified medical professional before registering.
• You participate entirely at your own risk. The Lions Club of Bangalore West, Varada Innovations, their members, volunteers, sponsors, partners and staff shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage or death arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Event.
• Participants must follow all instructions issued by the Organiser, marshals, volunteers and event staff, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
• Minors must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on their behalf.

5. Changes, Postponement and Cancellation of the Event

The Organiser reserves the right to change the date, time, route, venue or format of the Event, or to postpone or cancel the Event, in whole or in part, due to weather, public safety, regulatory requirements, force majeure or any other circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Any such change does not entitle a Participant to a refund.

6. Media and Publicity Consent

By participating, you consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded during the Event. You grant the Organiser and the Lions Club of Bangalore West a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use such images, video and audio for promotional, marketing, reporting and archival purposes across print, digital and social media, without further notice, compensation or approval.

7. Code of Conduct

• Participants shall behave responsibly and respectfully towards other participants, volunteers, staff and the public.
• The Organiser may remove or disqualify any Participant who engages in unsafe, abusive, fraudulent or unlawful behaviour, without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and the Event name and branding, is the property of the Lions Club of Bangalore West, Varada Innovations or their respective licensors and is protected by applicable laws. It may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of the Organiser and the Lions Club of Bangalore West arising out of or in connection with the Event or these terms shall not exceed the registration fee paid by the Participant.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Varada Innovations respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard the information you provide when you register for and participate in the Walk for Vision 2026 Event.

• Contact details such as name, WhatsApp/mobile number, email address and city.
• Participant details provided during registration.
• Transaction-related information processed via our payment gateway (we do not store payment credentials).

• To process and confirm your registration and payment.
• To communicate event-related updates, instructions and confirmations (including via WhatsApp, email or SMS).
• To manage event logistics such as T-shirts, bib numbers and certificates.

We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared with the Lions Club of Bangalore West and with trusted service providers (such as payment gateways and communication partners) strictly for the purposes of organising and delivering the Event, or where required by law.
